Seville skittled out

Strachan Shield Reserve: Batting first, Seville were cruising at 0/40 off 10 overs before they collapsed to 6/49 and were all out for 76. A. Ireland 5/16 and W. Watson 3/26 bowled superbly swinging the ball both ways and aided by excellent fielding. In reply, Wesburn batted steadily to reach 143. D. Clinch top-scored with 32 and was well supported by J. Lewis (24), L. Moran (22) and Steve Darwall (21).
Strachan Shield 3: Seville amassed 5/224 with G. Woodford 95 not out, P. Dicello (44) and J. Goss (35*), the best batsmen in a hard hitting performance. W. Williams 2/51 and D. Hajder 2/50 were Wesburn’s best bowlers. In reply, Wesburn struggled against very tight bowling from P. Spendlove (5/26) and G. Woodford (4/18) to be dismissed for 82. B. Clarke (28) was the only batsman to really get a start in a disappointing team performance.
