WANDIN North Primary School held its annual Harvest Market on Sunday 16 March.
Principal Hetty Thomas said that the day was a success, despite the heat, raising over $10,000 that will go towards building more shade structures around the school.
“We are very grateful to all the parents who worked so hard to make this day a great success, and wish to thank the community for their overwhelming support,” Mrs Thomas said.
Various stalls raised money throughout the day, including a plant stall and various food stalls.
The local CFA also attended the market, to educate the community about the importance to be ready for bush fires during summer.
