THERE is no longer a need to travel down the line for your nail technician services as Heather Frazer now offers the Yarra Valely a quality nail service using the latest techniques and products available. Ms Frazer started her business in October last year and says that it has gone from strength to strength.
The former shop assistant and reformed nail biter said that her passion to be a nail technician was instilled in her after getting her nails done by a nail technician.
“I have spent most of my life hiding my hands from other people, I didn’t like how they looked but once I got my nails done it was fantastic,” Ms Frazer said.
“I no longer had to hide or sit on my hands.”
She trained in the latest technology and most up-to-date products at Creative New Edge in Preston. Ms Frazer said that she was excited to start a new career path and Altitude Hair Studio provided her with the perfect location for her upcoming business.
Specialising in acrylics, sculptures, tips and bio sculpture gels, Ms Frazer said she most enjoyed the practice of acrylic nail sculptures.
She said it was more challenging and provides good results, especially for nail biters. Acrylic is also excellent for the toes, especially during the summer months. It is long lasting and chip proof with a large colour range to choose from.
“Your toes can look dazzling for weeks for $39.95 (normally $50), with either coloured French toe nails or a solid colour over the whole nail during the month of January,” Ms Frazer said.
A resident of the Yarra Valley since she was a child, Ms Frazer highlighted the importance of providing a good quality service as well as using quality brand products.
Ms Frazer also said that she believed that part of good quality service is to spend time with her clients.
“I like to give my clients time needed, I am not going to rush people in and out,” Ms Frazer said.
