HILLS schools have been big winners in the State Government’s recent $50 million statewide maintenance boost.
Cockatoo Primary School has been the biggest winner receiving $36,787 while Emerald Primary receives $17,350, Emerald College gets $12,058 and Gembrook Primary School gets $2198.
Cockatoo Primary School principal Darrelyn Boucher said the funding would go towards repairing and replacing spouting and roof works on the school’s portable classrooms.
