THE 18-year-old driver of a car in which Millgrove girl Laura Gruber lost her life will face court in July.
Ms Gruber, a 15-year-old year 9 student at Upper Yarra Secondary College, was killed in December 2006 when the car in which she was a passenger crashed at Yea. Detective Mark Amos of the Major Collision Investigation Unit said the man, who was 17 at the time of the crash, had pleaded guilty to culpable driving. The matter will be heard at the County Court on Tuesday, 31 July.
