WARBURTON rainfall recorder Keith Thomas recorded only 127mm of rain in September, although it rained on 17 days.
“We’re still short of our average of 142.7mm,” Mr Thomas said.
He recorded 872.5mm for the first nine months of 2007, 100mm below the average of 972.7mm.
In Healesville, Alma Mitchell recorded 61.8mm rain on 21 days compared with last year when 63.5mm was recorded over 16 days.
Melbourne’s storage dams are still low on 704,929m.ltr, 39.8 per cent of capacity.
