All Saints provides fun environment

By Dion Teasdale
ALL Saints Pre-School in Yarra Junction has been providing a fun and safe learning environment for local children for more than 50 years.
The pre-school, which runs programs for three and four-year-old children, has enrolment vacancies for the 2007 school year.
Sharyn Petty, the pre-school’s enrolment officer, said there were a number of reasons parents should consider All Saints.
“It feels like one big happy family here,” she said.
“The teacher, Fiona Borchardt, and her assistant, Wendy Maynes, are both wonderful people who are devoted to the children.”
Ms Petty said four-year-old programs are run on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and three-year-old programs are run on Tuesday morning.
“The pre-school’s outdoor playground has been updated and the inside of the school has been repainted, so the whole place is bright and inviting,” she said.
“The four-year-olds also have access to a computer, which is great for getting them ready to go into primary school.”
Ms Petty said the pre-school prides itself on offering a dynamic and comprehensive curriculum.
“Recently we hosted a visit from VicRoads’s road safety mascot, Thingle Toodle,” she said.
“Each year VicRoads visits our four-year-old classes and helps us make road safety a fun part of the learning program.
“The kids work their way through a series of three activity books and get stickers for their hard work,” she said.
All Saints Pre-School is located at 2438 Warburton Highway, Yarra Junction, and can be contacted on 5967 1117.
