HEALESVILLE’S GoalKick Soccer Program starts in earnest next Saturday, but some young fans (and some a little older), perhaps spurred on by the Australia’s recent big win against Uruguay, just couldn’t wait.
GoalKick coordinator, Darren Wilson, had a bunch of Healesville’s newest recruits lined up and in action at Queen’s Park Oval on Saturday.
GoalKick is aimed at five to 12-year-olds and teaches the basic skills of football (soccer) through drills, activities and games with the major emphasis very roundly focused on having fun.
Anyone interested in getting a headstart on soccer can do just that over the next 12 weeks. The play kicks off at 9.30am at Queen’s Park. Phone Darren Wilson on 5962 3154 or 0412 748474 for further details.
