Clubs to benefit from fundraiser

HEALESVILLE Soccer Club member, Steve Armstrong, has called in a few favours to put together a fundraiser which will benefit three football clubs – the soccer club, and Healesville senior and junior Aussie rules clubs.
Everyone who attends has the opportunity to walk away with what Steve, lifestyle and financial coach and state manager with the Geyer Group, calls “tools for life”.
Three speakers, experts in their fields, will present a seminar at the Healesville Football Club rooms in Don Road on Wednesday, 26 July, which will cover finance, investment and personal goal setting.
Stuart Geyer worked in finance broking and insurance. Ten years ago he formed the Geyer Group with the sole purpose of teaching people to reduce debt and create wealth towards retirement.
Michael Licenblat ran the Shiatsu Centre of Melbourne. His latest book Turn Stress into Energy and Enthusiasm, is a resilience manual which has helped many people throughout the world. He now runs BounceBackFast.com aimed at helping people to thrive under stress and pressure.
Russell Cunningham specialised for 23 years in business and personal success coaching and self-development, including success coaching for study, sport and work.
Steve said each speaker has donated his time as a community service and will talk for about half an hour. Everyone who attends will also have a chance to win $25,000.
“The clubs have the opportunity to organise raffles and people can nominate which club they would like their $15 entry fee ($25 for couples) to go to,” he said.
Tickets for the seminar, which begins at 7pm, can be purchased at the door, from Greg Hay at Healesville Football Club on 0408 370 815 or from Steve Armstrong at Healesville Soccer Club on 0415 326 319.
