THE newly formed Maroondah Reservoir Action Group will meet on Wednesday, 5 April to discuss issues relating to the Maroondah Reservoir Park.
The group was formed earlier this year following concerns about the structural integrity of the dam wall and maintenance of the surrounding park.
The group’s convenor, Maroondah View Motel proprietor, Rob O’Connor, said the group’s aim was to lobby governments and other stakeholders to enable the park to achieve its full potential and a growth to the Healesville tourist area.
The subject of the meeting will be a lack of response from the government.
The meeting is at Maroondah View Motel on the corner of Maroondah Highway and McKenzie Avenue at 7pm. Phone Mr O’Connor on 5962 4154 for further information.
