HEALESVILLE Soccer club kicked off the 2006 season on the weekend with an almost flawless first round.
Ten of the club’s 11 teams came away with win or draw points.
“It was a spectacular first round with all the teams from Under 8 through to Under 15, senior reserves and ladies coming away with points,” club president, Barry Cripps said.
Mr Cripps said the senior four/nil loss to Berwick was disappointing but said with their return to their Yarra Glen home ground next week they are looking forward to a better things from the seniors in the second round.
