HUNDREDS of people are expected to meet at the Terminus Hotel in Healesville on Sunday, 26 March for a concert which will pay tribute to and raise funds for the family of musician Darren Jones who was stabbed to death at Box Hill last month.
Musicians from around the Yarra Valley will be part of the concert which has been organised by friends, including former agent, Stuart Aldridge of Yarra Valley Entertainment.
“Musicians who have played with Darren in the past and those who simply were in awe of his natural talent have put their hands up to play at the fundraising gig,” Mr Aldridge said.
Bands performing on the day include Phil Deeh, the Coyotes, Leanne Patrick, Cactus, Jetty Road, Matt Kirsch.
The concert will go from 1pm to 6pm and tickets are $20 per head. Donations can also be made through www.love-jones.net.
