A NEW synthetic sporting surface will pave the way for Warburton Primary School students to spend more time outdoors.
The school was one of just 12 Victorian schools to be granted the new playing surface from the Brumby Government after being identified as needing better outdoor playing areas.
Sports Minister James Merlino said the synthetic playing surface would allow students to play outdoors rain or shine.
“Providing schools such as Warburton Primary with access to areas where students can play sport and other physical activities all year round is one of the best ways we can keep our kids fit and healthy,” Mr Merlino said.
