Puffing Billy book is to be re-released

CHILDREN’S book Puffing Billy’s Fabulous First Day has been re-released.
The book tells of Puffing Billy’s first day of operation, running from Upper Ferntree Gully to Gembrook.
The book was first published in 2003.
Recently another publisher saw the book and wanted to re-release it.
The story is a cross between fact and fiction written by Don Richards and illustrated by WEG of AFL football premiership poster fame.
Mr Richards grew up in a flat in Station Street in Belgrave, where Puffing Billy passed each day and his love affair with the train began.
