LEARNING how to manage your records or to create a safe working environment for your business is just around the corner.
The Shire of Yarra Ranges is hosting a small business workshop on Monday, 26 March, on records management and Occupational Health and Safe (OHS).
Mayor Tim Heenan said keeping good records is fundamental for the success of any business.
The three-hour workshop covers issues such as why it’s important to keep good records, information on taxation requirements and general records management.
The workshop aims to give small business owners the skills and confidence to manage OHS as part of their everyday business activities.
Businesses which take part in the workshop will not only learn the importance of OHS, but will be given an on-site safety assessment and help in developing a safety plan. Anyone interested in attending either the records management or the OHS workshops should contact Donna Donovan on 9294 6426.
