HEALESVILLE SES volunteers have expressed outrage over the theft of a sausage sizzle gas bottle used to raise funds for emergency equipment.
The 45-kilogram gas bottle, containing $80 worth of gas, was stolen from the SES branch headquarters on Argoon Street, Healesville, in the early hours of Sunday, 4 June.
The branch’s acting controller, Karen Picone, said the theft had left the local SES without a crucial fund raising tool and had angered volunteers.
