Violinist and composer Alies Sluiter forms a quarter of the Picture Box Orchestra.
COMBINING Classical Indian techniques with jazz, gypsy and Western classical influence, the Picture Box Orchestra is unlike any other live performance.
The four piece incarnation comprises vocalist Faheem Mazhar from Pakistan, violinist and composer Alies Sluiter, cellist Tim Blake and Jay Dabgar on tabla.
They will play at the Upper Yarra Arts Centre on Friday 24 February from 8pm.
