CHILDREN are being invited to explore activities that inspire and celebrate cultural diversity and harmony in the community.
This year’s Warburton Harmony Festival has a huge variety of family-friendly activities, including some specific workshops, activities and events for children.
Bushwalker Anita Holman will be taking children on an early morning nature walk, introducing them to nature and learning to connect with what they see and hear.
Kids’ yoga, one world song, universal colour wheel, mandala colouring, Indian and Indonesian dance workshops and award-winning animation will complement the already rich program.
Supported by funding through Festivals Australia, councilor Chris Templar and the Upper Yarra Community Enterprise, the Harmony Kids Program provides a great opportunity to explore cultural and interfaith diversity with little ones.
The festival will take place from 8 to 12 March and a list or presenters, ticket options and other information is at www.harmonyfest.org.
