RUSTIC Charm restaurant in Wandin is going nuts throughout the month of May.
The award-winning restaurant is one of eight Victorian restaurants taking part in the inaugural Australian Chestnut Month.
The eight participating restaurants will create sumptuous chestnut dishes for food lovers throughout the month.
Rustic Charm manager, Jeynelle Forrest, said the restaurant was delighted to have been chosen to take part in the celebrations.
“Chestnuts are a wonderful local product that are underrated and we wanted to help promote them in any way we could,” she said.
Mrs Forrest said her husband, the restaurant’s head chef, Scott Forrest, was featuring chestnuts in a number of dishes in May.
