YOU don’t have to go down to the woods for fun and games and lovely things to eat, just to Don Valley Primary School.
The school is holding a Teddy Bears Picnic on Sunday, 23 April, from 11am to 2pm and bears – live ones of all ages, and cuddly, furry ones are all invited!
There will be free activities for your young cubs that include bubble blowing, craft making and play dough. A special teddies’ lunch and story at noon and, for the big bears there will be hot food and Devonshire teas for sale.
School tours are available throughout the day and organisers say, even the weather won’t put a damper on their picnic with plenty of room under cover for all the activities.
Don Valley Primary School is on the corner of Old Don and Old Dalry Roads in Don Valley. Phone 5967 3321 for further information.
