WANDIN Rotary Club presented five stellar employees with awards for exemplary customer service in the Yarra Valley community.
The awardees include Caleb Armstrong from the Seville Village Pharmacy, Sammy Lee from Seville IGA Liquor, Helen Huisken from Seville Timber and Hardware, Ashleigh Hoffman, property manager with Ray White Real Estate Mount Evelyn and absent on the night was Danny Eastman from Landmark Wandin.
Wandin Rotarian Carol Pitman said the five nominees had been selected for their contribution to their communities via their vocation, recognising the high level of service they provide their customers.
“Vocational Service is Rotary’s second avenue of service and is the way Rotary supports the application of the ideal service in the pursuit of all vocations,” she said.
“The ideal is to promote the highest ethical standards in all occupations, recognise the worthiness of all occupations and the contribution of one’s vocational talents to society.”
