The Shirley Heights Combined Training Day took place on Saturday, with the following winners:
CCN3* – Nicolette Rippon riding Koko Opapa,
CCN2* – Imogen Bergin on Prince Albert
CCN1* – Jessica Carter on In Armound. In the EVA95 category,
Kyle Kroger on Glenowen Game Plan took the prize, followed by Rebekah Italiano on Caladium for EVA80, and Marnie Barrett on Danyiera Park Sapphire for EV65.
Congratulations to all the competitors and the event organisers. Many locals ventured to Kangaroo Ground for a HRCAV Navigation Ride on Saturday, braving less-than-ideal weather conditions. The following day, the KG Pony Club hosted a Show under much more favourable weather. Kudos to everyone for their support of local clubs and events, Happy Riding Everyone.
