A YARRA Glen woman was seriously injured when she was pinned under a four-wheel-drive vehicle on a property along Old Healesville Road.
Senior Constable Angelo Maccagninim, of Yarra Glen police, said the accident happened at about 11am on Friday, 3 March.
“The woman tried to stop the four-wheel-drive from rolling and she was caught underneath it,” he said.
“Pinned under the vehicle, she sustained substantial injuries to her torso and upper body.”
Sen Const Maccagnini said the woman was airlifted to The Alfred hospital and was reported to be in a stable condition.
