Going feet first to make a difference- Emily Dearden and Matt Peck build up stamina with encouragement from team-mates Georgia Kelly, Shannon Maile, Rachel Spakman, Chelsea Connell and Tamara Groves.

EMILY Dearden and Matt Peck had the full support of their team-mates as they trained last week for a walk which will help children in Brazil.
The seven Healesville High School students will do a circuit of local schools tomorrow (Wednesday 20 October) as part of the school’s year nine community program called Are You Making a Difference (ruMAD).
The students have gathered sponsorship for the event and will donate the money to buy sports equipment to help under privileged children in Brazil.
The walk will also raise awareness with the students carrying placards to highlight issues facing underprivileged schools in third world countries. Any business or individual who would like to sponsor the ‘MAD’ students can contact the school on 5962 4088 or donate money to the students as they walk.
