STEPHEN Park lives further down the line nowadays, butsaid living in Millgrove helpedhis inspiration in painting landscapes.
“There’s a couple done around Warburton and Millgrove, but I’m more of a studio artist, so a lot of work comes from my head or images I’ve seen,” he said.
The landscapes he paints are all Australian locations, painted in acrylic on cotton canvas.
Mr Park said if he saw something that looked good to the eye he painted it.
“I admire the outback with its oranges and reds,” he said.
Mr Park has more than 20 of his paintings displayed at the Upper Yarra Arts Centre in Warburton until August 5.
