YARRA Glen Tractors & Mowers has been leaders in its field for decades.
Bruce Schnitzler and Brian Caddle have been at the helm for the past 11 years continuing to provide their customers with quality service, equipment and machinery.
Centrally located in Yarra Glen’s main street, the business caters for a wide range of customers from the growing residential market with a wide range of equipment.
These include chainsaws, brushcutters, trimmers and push mowers to hobby farmers and tradespeople with small-scale machinery, generators and pumps and the larger agricultural stakeholders which include vignerons, orchardists, strawberry growers and livestock farmers.
Yarra Glen Tractors & Mowers is a Kubota tractor dealership and is one of only 20 Kubota Five-Star Service Centres in Australia.
Taking pride of place on the dealership floor at the present time however is the ‘Torro TX’ mini digger and excavator that Bruce said had particular appeal to builders, plumbers and small-scale farmers.
“Its main features, apart from the fact that it is a high quality piece of machinery, is that it has tracks rather than wheels which makes it suitable for all types of terrain,” he explained.
“For the same reason, it’s not as harsh on grassed areas,” he added.
Now is the time to talk with Bruce or Brian about the snazzy newcomer to the market.
“We’re keen to get the Torro out into the field and so we’ve got it on a ‘release special’ at the moment,” Bruce said.
The on-going success of Yarra Glen Tractors & Mowers can largely be attributed to the depth of experience and professional approach of its team.
This includes four qualified mechanics and an apprentice who take care of service and repairs, both in-house and on-site and the sales, spare-parts and administration crew that knows its product and clientele.
“We specialise in advising people about what sort of machinery and equipment will best suit their particular needs and then provide follow-up service and maintenance they can depend on,” Bruce said.
“That’s the same whether it’s someone buying a brush-cutter or mower or someone buying a 150 horse-power tractor.”
