Warburton Community Chess Day returns

Following the success of the first Warburton Community Chess Day, Shez Gibteath and her son Harry have organised a second catch-up for chess lovers. They are continuing to hope it will become a regular catch-up.

The event is running from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday 2 April and welcomes players of all levels and experiences.

The creation of the event was inspired by Harry’s reignited passion for the board game, and as a way to connect with his late grandfather through his chess books and notes.

It is a relaxed opportunity for some social chess at the Koha Community Space at 25A Dammans Rd, Warburton. Snacks, tea and coffee will be provided.
