THE SPIRIT of pulling together which is so much in people’s minds on Anzac Day will be manifested in a different way in Narbethong over the Anzac weekend.
In a joint DSE and community project, the plan is to rebuild the Andersons Mill horse and camping area destroyed in the Black Saturday fires.
Organiser Jo-Anne Kasch said whatever skills people could bring to the table, they would be kept busy.
“There’ll be jobs for everyone, from building the yards, painting, hanging the gates or boiling the billy, we want people to come along, share the load and join in the fun,” Ms Kasch said.
The project is a joint DSE, ATHRA (Australian Trail Horse Riding Association), Bicentennial National Trail, horse riders and broader community event.
