Win for local triathlete



Chum Creek resident Calvin Amos won the Geelong 70.3 Half Ironman at the Traithlon Australia Long Course National Championships.

Amos was the winner of the male 25-29 age group and finished as the fastest age group athlete. As well as being the only non-professional athlete to complete the event in under four hours

Later this year the local triathlete will be representing Australia at the Half Ironman World Championships at Lake Taupo New Zealand.
