WATCH out South Belgrave, the Yarra Glen Jets under-11 team will have luck on their side for the finals this weekend.
Yarra Glen Junior Football Club not only had the lucky omen of a rainbow during its training session last week but it received a $5000 grant as part of a Woolworths Fresh Food Kids Community Grant.
Yarra Glen Junior Football Club president Dean Stevenson said the club would put the money towards uniforms and playing gear.
Other sporting clubs in the community to receive a Woolworths Fresh Food Kids Community Grant include Healesville Junior Football Club, which received $2000, and Marysville Junior Cricket Club, which received $4000.
