10 years of caring

By Kath Gannaway
PADDINGTON’S, a family-owned and operated kindergarten and childcare centre in Chirnside Park has been proudly caring for and developing the children in its care for over 10 years.
The dedicated, highly trained and experienced team of carers is committed to providing a safe, stimulating and friendly environment for all children and their families.
A fully registered kindergarten is available and is run by a qualified kindergarten teacher and carer. Highlights of our kinder year feature regular computer and dance/movement programs, regular excursions and visiting educational groups, and an end of year graduation ceremony. Families will also be provided with a CD/DVD featuring numerous photos of their child’s experiences throughout the year.
Separate rooms are available for our babies, toddlers, three-year-old kinder group and four-year-old kinder group.
Large open playgrounds are complemented by huge shaded areas and a large undercover decked area. As a Sun Smart centre staff ensure children have outdoor play at appropriate times and with necessary UV protection.
Paddington’s also offers half-day bookings, outside school hours care, vacation care as well as a discount on additional casual days booked by families. Make-up days are also available in certain circumstances where a child is absent.
“Families will find our fees more than competitive and very affordable in comparison to similar services in the area,” said owner Gary Reimers.
“We take great pride in achieving full accreditation and being awarded for having best practice in providing for our children’s nutritional needs by the government sponsored ‘Start Right Eat Right’ program. We also achieved a 100 per cent compliance in our food handling practices in our most recent audit,” he added.
Visit Paddington’s today and see for yourself the safe, relaxed and happy environment that the children have available to them.
