Time to take tools back

POLICE will be presenting stolen tools in viewing sessions, in an attempt to reunite 500 pieces of equipment with their owners, after a Wantirna South raid on Monday 7 November.
Victoria Police announced on Wednesday 9 November, that more than 500 stolen tools were seized when a search warrant was executed by detectives at a Chappell Drive, Wantirna South, property on Monday.
A 44-year-old Wantirna South man was arrested, charged with multiple offences, including handling stolen goods, possessing proceeds of crime and possessing ammunition, and has been remanded to appear at Ringwood Magistrates’ Court.
Anyone who may have had power tools stolen recently, particularly stolen from a motor vehicle, is asked to attend viewing sessions at Forest Hill Police Station, 469 Springvale Road, Vermont South.
The sessions will be held on Thursday 10 November, between 4pm and 7pm, Saturday 12 November, from 10am to 4pm, and Tuesday 15 November, from 4pm to 7pm.
