Prizes worth thousands

YARRA Ranges residents have shared in thousands of dollars in prizes, with winners drawn for the Mail’s All I Want for Christmas competition.
The competition required residents to spend a minimum of $10 at Healesville Walk, Monbulk Jewellers, Croydon Cinemas, The Jewel Box, Travellers Place or wherever a promotional poster was hung.
Over the course of the competition, more than 3500 entries came in – meaning more than $35,000 was spent at local businesses by entrants.
Healesville’s Daniel and Paige Sonsie were the winners of a $5000 Gold Cinema Card from Croydon Cinemas, meaning they can see a film together every day of 2016, free of charge.
Healesville’s Jan Frogley, Vince Gillett, Margaret Neil and W. Schaerf all won Healesville Walk vouchers worth $275, while Healesville’s Sharon Martin won a $250 voucher for Monbulk Jewellers.
Kilsyth resident Chris Hutchinson won the $100 voucher for Upwey’s Travellers Place, while Healesville’s Lexie Bright won a $50 Auto One voucher.
Norma Buzza, C. Malcolm, Toolangi’s Karen Cook, Badger Creek’s Angela Hammond and Kara Chater, Croydon’s Ruth Walton, Healesville’s Jennifer Sharp, Peter Grinter, Tim Lorey and Murray Hardinge all won $50 vouchers for The Jewel Box.
Dandenong’s M. Heys, Healesville’s Jill Robins, Croydon’s Annie Martin and Mooroolbark’s David Payne also won $15 vouchers to Beechworth Bakery.
