Tasteful Toolangi

THE delights of the Yarra Valley can be celebrated at the Toolangi Festival this weekend.
Activities will include the serene settings of open gardens, jazz among the vines, and the classical words of the poetry competition.
Several artists call the small township home, and the festival will also offer a number of art and craft stalls as well as a quilt exhibition, art show, ceramics display and Irish dancing.
Need more reasons to make the journey to this wonderful town?
Visitors can chose to go to the potato research farm, learn about the Strawberry Runner Growers Co-operative, inspect the Anglicare operation and historic garden of the late Alec Sewell, frolic with food and wine at the Toolangi Tavern and trace the history of Toolangi with a fun kids treasure map.
The festival will take place on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October from 10am to 4pm.
