MICHELLE Knoll from Hoddles Creek took this amazing picture of her resident goanna, which she has nicknamed Dino.
Michelle said Dino has been in the backyard a few times, which she said gave her family a bit of a scare.
“The first time was a sunny afternoon and my daughter was having her lunch on the lawn, heard rustling in the pile of leaves in the corner, got up ready thinking it was a snake, and out comes this big fella,” Michelle said.
Michelle was able to get close the first time and use her longer lens (55-250mm) for the picture.
