WITH the AFL Grand Final looming, we at the Mail have contacted our resident expert, Ollie the swamp wallaby, for tips on who will come out on top this weekend.

On Thursday, 24 September, Ollie was given two bowls of milk, each labelled with an AFL team going head-to-head this weekend for the semi-finals.

With no hesitation, Ollie showed his true colours and chose North Melbourne’s blue bowl – whether it was favouritism for his fellow roos or an accurate prediction of a win over the West Coast Eagles on Saturday, only time will tell.

After hopping around his enclosure at the Australian Wildlife Health Centre (AWHC), Ollie then picked Fremantle to win over Hawthorn on Friday night.

We now wait with bated breath to see whether Ollie’s predictions come true, and will consult our expert again in the lead-up to next weekend’s Grand Final.
