Dance school debs have a ball

MONTHS of hard work, dedication and fun were rewarded with another wonderful Melissa McDonald School of Dance debutante ball.
Eleven beautiful young women and their dashing partners took part in the 2008 ball held at York on Lilydale in August.
Ms McDonald said the evening was a wonderful success and thanked everyone involved with special thanks to Marg Swankie for her dedication in helping prepare the debs and their partners for the big night.
The 2008 debutantes and their partners were:
Courtney Murfin and Ryan Prowse; Grace Barnard and Bradley Woods; Tiffany Harrington and Allan Chandler; Kelly Peers and Aaron Haines; Alannah Jones and Jack Russell; Carly Holmberg and Daniel Hajder; AdelleWest and Adam Ward; Bridget Laws and Troy Carter; Demi Barber and Jayden Mullan; Ashley Mataele and Jayden Elliott and Melissa Robson and Winston Shefford.
The compere for the ball was Aimee Jackson, matron of honour was Terri Jones, flower girl Livinia Mace, pageboy Angus Mellett while Evelyn MP Christine Fyffe officiated at the event.
Places are already being filled for next year’s ball, which will be moving to a larger venue.
Girls aged between 15 and 21 years are eligible to be a debutante.
