A MOOROOLBARK man has been charged with 66 child sexual assault offences, and will face court on Friday.
Police arrested the 59-year-old man at a property on Old Kent Road in Mooroolbark on Tuesday, 9 June, in relation to historic sexual assaults in the area.
He was charged with 66 offences relating to serious sexual assaults involving children, and the incidents are believed to have occurred in the 1980s and 1990s.
The man was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
