NOMINATIONS for the 2008 Horticulture Australia Limited (HAL) Awards has opened across Australia and residents of the Yarra Valley are invited to nominate.
The HAL Awards include the Graham Gregory Award for excellence in horticulture, which carries a $10,000 cash prize and the Young Leader Award which can be presented to up to five young leaders in one year.
Nominations for both awards close on Monday 6 October and the winners will be announced at the Future Focus Industry Summit in Sydney on 24 and 25 November later this year.
