MULTINET Gas is hosting an information session for Warburton residents ahead of delivering natural gas to the town.
Representatives from the company will be in the town on Wednesday night to provide an update on the project and talk with residents about how to connect.
After almost a decade of campaigning by residents, the State Government announced in May 2014 that it had committed $7.88 million to the project that, in partnership with Multinet Gas, would supply natural gas to Warburton.
Yarra Ranges Council, on its website, said it welcomed the project which will save residents thousands of dollars each year on bottled gas and provide a boost for local business.
The information session will be held at the Arts Centre on Wednesday 6 May at 7pm.
