Recipe for fundraiser

ORGANISERS of the Healesville Community Labyrinth Project are cooking up an entertaining fundraiser in conjunction with Vocal Nosh.
Their recipe starts with 30 to 40 people, aged between two and 102 – no previous singing experience is needed.
Add some wholesome chewy bread, four hearty pots of soup – vegetarian and vegan; fresh fruit platters, two enthusiastic and experienced singing leaders and a large handful of short, catchy songs and you have a promising list of ingredients.
Now to the method. Place all ingredients in a warm, supportive space and mix well. Season with a generous sprinkle of good intent and serve immediately with a garnish of laughter.
Sounds like a fail-safe recipe for a great evening of family entertainment in aid of a worthwhile community project.
Vocal Nosh will be held at the Healesville Senior Citizens Club in Healesville on Sunday 3 August from 6pm to 8.30pm.
The cost, $12 or $6 concession, includes dinner and all proceeds will go towards the Healesville Community Labyrinth Project.
Bookings are essential by 30 July – so there’s plenty of nosh to go around.
