THE rooms at Healesville Living and Learning Centre are in a class of their own … thanks to the Rotary Club of Healesville.
Rotarians spent two weekends recently carrying out maintenance and painting four classrooms.
Rotarian Graham Chester said the rooms, which have not had a lot of attention over the past decade or so, needed a lot of work.
“We have 17 people working on the project which is part of Fix-Up Australia, a collaboration between Mitre 10 and Rotary clubs across Australia.”
Mr Chester said the buildings came up really well.
“Everyone is back at the centre next week and hopefully will be mightily impressed,” he said.
Another weekend working bee is planned for later in the year to carry out a similar transformation on the administration block.
