POPULAR Healesville butcher Len Chandler and his fiance Jenny Pattie had a few nervous moments the week before their wedding.
But, with a little help from their friends and Healesville RSL, it was, as all weddings should be, a wonderful and memorable occasion.
The couple were married at the Healesville Uniting Church on 4 October on a beautiful spring day.
Jenny’s sister Naomi Beven and Len’s friend Graham Wilkinson were matron of honour and best man.
The hitch, in getting hitched cancellation of their reception venue a week before the big day was all but forgotten as the happy couple, friends and family celebrated the occasion. Len said Wayne Farrow and Julia Rowe at the Healesville RSL Bistro saved the day and catered for the reception in great style.
