NOT everyone can be a gourmet chef. That’s why Caspers Gourmet Foods has found its niche.
The demand for gourmet quality food has surged in recent years – people are becoming more discerning.
Owner Con Katheklakis said the food retail sector is increasingly reliant on other manufacturers for their products.
“Retail stores require products that reflect the individuality and identity of their brand,” he said.
Caspers Gourmet Foods in Bayswater caters for that market, but they also sell direct to the public.
Their product range includes a variety of gourmet chunky meat pies, traditional mince pies, gourmet rolls, pasties, fruit pies, quiches and frittatas.
The range comes in party size, individual serve and family size.
Products are made using predominantly quality Australian grown or produced, ingredients in a new, fully accredited food facility.
“We’re proud of the fact we have our own in-house product development team which can tailor make products for a client’s specific requirements or recipes,” Mr Katheklakis said.
