POLICE are appealing to the public for more information about a spree of vandalism in Yarra Junction last week.
Vandals smashed seven shopfront windows on four buildings along Yarra Junction’s main street between 11.30pm and midnight on Thursday, 20 October.
Senior Constable Kevin Bishop of Yarra Junction police said bricks and alcohol bottles found outside the shops were believed to have been used to smash the windows.
“These are acts of senseless vandalism that cost local businesses time and money,” Sen Const Bishop said.
“Police are making inquiries about the destruction of property and we urge anyone with information to come forward.”
Yarra Junction police can be contacted on 5967 1104.
