YARRA Glen and surrounding communities have been invited to attend an information day about the proposed parkland and shopping complex in the town.
The developer of the parkland and shopping complex, Chris O’Connor, and the related design teams, have extended an open invitation to community members to visit the home of the designers at Wombat Bend .
The shopping complex is to be built on a twoacre site on Bell Street, Yarra Glen, and could include a Safeway supermarket.
Mr O’Connor said community members would have the chance to discuss the project with Mr Molyneux and Ms Forrester, Artima Designs, the designer of the shopping complex building, and himself. The community information day will be held on Sunday, 6 November between 10am and 2pm at Wombat Bend, 200 Beachs Lane, Dixons Creek.
