THE hottest shop in Healesville is heading into its second year of operation with new owners and a new direction.
The Hot Shop at 201 Maroondah Highway has become the first port of call for a growing number of people looking for quality cosmetics, grocery and health and beauty products at bargain prices.
Fiona Kidston and partner Anthony Jaensch recently purchased the business from Fiona’s father, who had tremendous success in the first 12 months establishing an ever-increasing customer base.
Fiona said while some things will change, some things will remain the same. It will all be good news for customers.
“One of the changes is we will now stock predominantly cosmetic and beauty products,” Fiona said.
“We will still have the core grocery lines such as cleaners, detergents and sunscreens, but we have increased the range of cosmetics to provide more choice in both product type and price.”
One of the things which remains the same is the personal service delivered by manager Jodi Wilkinson and Hot Shop team members Debbie Prout and Alice Saunders.
“People really appreciate the friendly, professional service offered by the girls,” Fiona said.
“They’re all fantastic people to have on board and more than happy to help with any questions and make-up tips.”
The foundation of the shop’s success is the huge savings that can be had on top quality brand names such as L’Oreal, Revlon, CoverGirl, Max Factor, Olay and Dove.
