HEALESVILLE Swimming Club member Tamara Groves has qualified for the District Metro East team to compete in Canberra in June.
Tamara qualified in the District Championships Metro East championships at Balwyn.
Medals were awarded to first, second and third places for A and B grade levels with swimmers winning an A grade individual age medal at the championships being considered.
Healesville results were:
Tamara Groves – 1st A grade medal – 11-12 years 100m freestyle; 3rd A grade medal – 11-12 years 100m backstroke.
Travis Groves – 1st B grade medal – 11-12 years 100m backstroke, 2nd B grade medal –Open 50m breaststroke.
Cindy Mills – 2nd B grade medal – Open 50m fly, 2nd B grade medal – Open 50 backstroke.
Tess Mallows – 3rd B grade medal – 13-14 years 100 freestyle.
Georgia Murty and Lochie Oliver – both finished high at A grade level.
