THERE’S nothing quite like unwrapping a traditional, cloth boiled Christmas pudding – but how to do it?
Seville Community House has dedicated Sunday 8 December to Christmas cooking and will give visitors the opportunity to spend four hours learning the secrets of success to making this delicious, authentic pudding from an experienced cook.
And visitors get to take their pudding home – yum!
While the pudding cooks, the trainees get to mix up a batch of gingerbread and some mince tarts to nibble on while sharing a chatty, fun afternoon with friends… and perhaps make some new friends!
The pudding is enough for 10 to 12 people and there is also a gluten free version available.
The session includes all the ingredients so it’s great value at $65 for the session.
Another little bit of Christmas cheer the community house is offering is a Soy Candle and Glycerine Soap Making workshop on Saturday 7 December.
Learn how to make hand-crafted gifts for family and friends that are natural and naturally beautiful.
Why not do the workshop with a friend, daughter, sister, or your mum. It could even be an early Christmas gift that will create memories as well as some very special gifts.
