FOR primary Catholic Education, St Brigid’s Primary School in Healesville is a compassionate and caring environment for your child.
St Brigid’s Primary School principal Brett Collison said the focus on values and traditions of the Catholic Church permeates on the whole school community.
Mr Collison said that the size of the school, 220 students, was a real strength.
“It is neither too large or too small. Teachers are able to have a good relationship with students, and the children are able to get to know each other over different levels and classes,” Mr Collison said.
The school specialises in a number of education streams including art, drama, Chinese, physical education, interschool sports, camps, instrumental music lessons, swimming programs and active after school sports programs.
Mr Collison said that the school prided itself on its strong relationship with parents.
“We like to get parents involved in the education of their children, whether it be inside or outside the classroom, or as part of the committee,” Mr Collison said.
